    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Romeo Beckham is yet to live up to the high standards set in football by his father. He joined Brentford B from his father's club, Inter Miami, in January 2023 on an initial six-month loan and was part of the squad that won the 2022–23 Premier League Cup. He was subsequently given a one-year contract with the Bees' B team. But, at 21, he is yet to make a first-team appearance for Brentford and does not look likely to break into the team anytime soon.
